Pakistan cricket team receive traditional Maori welcome in Dunedin (Video)

Pakistan cricket team was welcomed with great enthusiasm as they landed in Dunedin to play a do or die match against New Zealand in the ongoing ODI series.

A Kapa Haka group of the Kings and Queens High Schools greeted the Green Shirts at Dunedin International Airport with heartiest and traditional Maori welcome that enthralled the Pakistan players.

The Maori Welcome Ceremony is traditionally given to visitors in New Zealand. The dance —called the haka — is part of an elaborate welcome ceremony that may last for more than half an hour

Pakistan already lost two matches and is set to face off New Zealand in the 3rd match to be played on January 12 at the Oval.
